DUCT CLEANING

COAST ABATEMENT SERVICES can help improve your indoor air quality conditions by performing a thorough cleaning of your duct systems!

Our duct cleaning process includes:

  • Our knowledgeable technicians will perform a visual inspection of your property’s HVAC system so we can create a customized cleaning protocol uniquely tailored to your home.
  • We will carefully remove your register grilles and clean them using a high powered HEPA vacuum and disinfectant (as needed).
  • Starting with each register, we use an agitating Rotobrush system (in conjunction with the latest in commercial grade HEPA vacuum systems) to dislodge any dust and debris within the ducts.
  • To ensure cleanliness of your HVAC system, COAST ABATEMENT SERVICES uses an EPA-registered antimicrobial agent that is specifically designed for HVAC systems; the system is fogged with the antimicrobial agent to ensure all surfaces within are treated, preventing the growth of odor causing microorganisms as well as mold, mildew, and bacterial growth.

QUICK FACTS

  • According to industry experts, dirt and dust in your home’s heating and cooling system gets recirculated 5-7 times a day with up to 40 pounds of dust accumulating in a home per year!
  • Even more, the EPA has shown that on average, Americans spend approximately 90% of their time indoors where some indoor pollutant concentrations can be 2-5 times higher than typical outdoor concentrations.
  • Newly constructed homes are just as susceptible and can have significant dust and debris built up in their HVAC systems as a result of construction activities in and surrounding the home.
  • Common reasons for duct cleaning include: moist conditions causing mold to grow inside ductwork; air ducts are infested with vermin (rats, cockroaches, etc); air ducts are clogged with excessive dust and debris; odors are coming from ductwork; visible soot forming around register grilles.
